Health Educator Publications, Inc. is a publishing company that started in 1984 with one book and a big dream. Dana Oakes, among the first group of Respiratory Therapists , knew that he could not remember all the material he needed to know. Unable to find the pocket guide he needed, he decided to write his own.
Today, Health Educator Publications is home to RespiratoryBooks.com with 6 Best-Selling Respiratory Pocket Guides. They serve as a critical companion for the majority of students in clinicals and the classroom.
In 2011, RespiratoryUpdate.com became the newest member of the family, bringing the Pocket Guide (and much more) to Internet Browsers of all sizes.
