We are Looking for Quality Editors and
Authors. As a growing publishing company in the medical field, with a primary focus on respiratory medicine, we are on the lookout for committed, thoughtful editors and authors. Editors: An editor is someone who provides thoughtful feedback and revisions to established and upcoming titles. The only "real" qualification to being an editor is an ability to commit your time and energy to provide feedback. We are always looking for people with expertise in particular areas, but consider anyone with a passion for respiratory medicine. For example, in our latest edition of the "Blue Book" we have editors ranging from "doctor" level, to clinicians with experience in disease-management, to a newly graduated student. All provided invaluable feedback in shaping the book. Authors: While we accept and encourage ideas for books, we are more interested in people who have ideas and the drive to put "feet" on those ideas. It is extremely hard work putting together a quality book, with hundreds of hours of research, multiple rewrites, and updates. It is also one of the most rewarding contributions you can make to your field. |
